Ireland striker Rianna Jarrett signs new deal with Brighton

Ireland striker Rianna Jarrett has penned a new deal with Brighton for next term.

Jarrett, 25, joined the club on a six-month contract in January after playing a big role in Wexford Youths claiming the WNL, FAI Cup and Development Shield, picking up the Women’s National League Player of the Year award in the process.

The league shutdown occurred just six weeks into her stay in the south-east of England but Jarrett did enough to secure another year with Brighton.

“Delighted to have signed a new contract with Brighton,” tweeted Jarrett.

“Looking forward to getting back to business for the upcoming season.
