Ireland international Rianna Jarrett has joined Brighton from Wexford Youths.
The striker, 25, has signed a six month deal for the club that sits ninth in the 12-team Women’s Super League.
Brighton boss Hope Powell said: “Rianna is someone who will bolster our forward options.
“We’ve kept a close eye on her progress in Ireland. I know she was very keen to come over to England and prove herself.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how she progresses in the months ahead, and cannot wait to start working with her.”
