Ireland striker Jonathan Afolabi joins Dundee on loan from Celtic

Jonathan Afolabi has joined Dundee on a season-long loan from Celtic.

The Ireland under-21 striker joined the Bhoys from Southampton in the summer of 2019, and was loaned to Dunfermline in January.

He scored two goals in six appearances for The Pars before football went into lockdown.

Afolabi, who trained with his new team-mates for the first time yesterday, was named in the team of the tournament for the UEFA European Under 19 Championship last year.
