Google has appealed to all Chrome users to update their browsers as soon as possible.
The update to the popular software will help users stay safe online as it has fixed 11 security issues.
People are asked to install the patch immediately as one of the bugs discovered that the new software illuminates has been given a zero-day rating.
This means hackers are highly likely to be actively working to exploit more people before the update is installed.

Google said in a message on its security page: "This update includes 11 security fixes. Google is aware of reports that an exploit for CVE-2022-0609 exists in the wild. We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel."
Google will automatically upgrade all users in the coming days and weeks, but there is a simple way to ensure your PC is protected today.
If you use Chrome, you can check whether or not your device is running the latest software, named version 98.0.4758.102.
To do this, launch your browser, head to Chrome in your menu bar and tap "About Chrome."
Here you'll see which version of Chrome you are running and if your browser is ready to be upgraded or not.
The news comes after Apple had to update a security fix for its iPhones.
Apple released the new update for iPhone, iPad and macOS devices that fixes a vulnerability hackers had been taking advantage of.
The flaw gave scammers the ability to run code on devices that could, in turn, lead to OS crashes.
Describing the vulnerability, called CVE-2022-22620, Apple said: "Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited."
