The Republic of Ireland have been handed an intriguing draw for next year's UEFA Nations League.
Stephen Kenny's side will face neighbours Scotland as well as trips to Eastern Europe against Ukraine and Armenia.
The draw presents a unique challenge to Kenny's young side, who hope to use the competition as preparation for Euro 2024 qualification.
Ukraine are the clear big-hitters in the group, but the Boys in Green will fancy their chances against the Scottish as well as a potentially tough trip to the Caucasus to take on Armenia.
Ireland found themselves in League B and in Pot 3 in the seeding, meaning they could've faced stern opposition such as Ukraine, Sweden and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
"We will take the Nations League extremely seriously and will be determined to win the group. That would be what we will be looking to do going forward," Kenny said.
The draw took place at Nyon, Switzerland at 5 pm Irish time today.
