French Rugby Federation president Bernard Laporte has claimed that Ireland's Six Nations clash against France has been rescheduled for October 31.
World Rugby are set to release a revised international schedule on July 30, but Laporte, who is also vice-president of the governing body, has declared that the test has already been pinned for the date.
It comes amid speculation that a two-week period before the traditional November internationals period could be used to play off the remainder of the Six Nations.
Ireland were set to take on Les Blues in Paris on March 14, but that clash - along with a home game against Italy - was postponed as the Covid-19 pandemic took hold of Europe.
Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, Laporte said: "Yes, France-Ireland is announced for 31 October."
Andy Farrell's November plans also remain in doubt, with South Africa now increasingly likely to pull out of their planned tour of Europe.
The Springboks are likely to only face southern hemisphere sides prior to their two-test clash with the British & Irish Lions in July and August next year.
