Ireland's oldest bookstore hiring for full-time roles in Dublin

Book lovers, this one's for you - a popular Dublin bookstore mentioned in James Joyce's Ulysses is looking to hire a number of people for full-time positions.

Hodges Figgins on Dawson Street is recruiting booksellers to join the 255-year-old institution. A spokesperson for the bookshop said on Twitter: "Delighted to announce we’re hiring for a number of full-time bookseller positions.

"If you’re interested in a full-time role please send your CV to manager@hodgesfiggis.ie." Closing date for applications is this Friday, January 6 at 5pm so you better act fast.

Located in Dublin city centre, Hodges Figgis is one of the best-known bookstores in Ireland. The shop was founded in 1768 and has moved and expanded several times until 1992 when it found its permanent home at 56-58 Dawson Street.

The Hodges Figgis website states: "Our Irish Department represents the largest stock of books relating to Ireland to be found anywhere in the world. Within our walls can be found books of all genres, from Fiction to Philosophy and Cookery to Children's as well as an extensive range of Games, Cards, Stationery and more."
