Ireland's newest music and arts festival Beyond The Pale announces 33 acts and summer dates

Ireland’s newest music and arts festival Beyond The Pale has announced 33 acts to take to the stage this summer.

Featuring the likes of Four Tet, Bonobo, Orbital and Lisa Hannigan, other acts announced include the Mary Wallopers, Soda Blonde and Shygirl, with a full lineup available from their website.

The weekender will take place from Friday June 10 to Sunday June 12 in the valleys of the spectacular Glendalough Estate, Co Wicklow.

The 33 acts feature ten different nationalities from five different continents – a delightful smorgasboard of just about every musical genre.

Organisers said: “Our boutique festival is all about the careful curation of music, art & food in a beautifully intimate location fit for 5,000 people.

“After 2 years of isolation and disconnection we want to surround ourselves with friends and strangers with one unifying purpose: to bathe in nature and soak up the incredible entertainment on show.

“As curators, we’ve never been so inspired to deliver an event like this.

“We’ve come together as a team of people with a passion for how music, art and food unifies people in ways that can break all barriers & create memories.”

As well as the music, there will also be a food area entitled Beyond The Plate.

Beyond the Pale is being conceived and created by a team of experienced event organisers in Ireland including Declan Ford, a pioneer of music & arts festivals in three continents; the main music programmer of the first 7-8 years of Electric Picnic, Body & Soul and Forbidden Fruit festivals amongst others, as well as numerous music and arts festivals in Australia and Asia , founder and Director of Irish concert promoter Selective Memory.

3 day tickets for the new event start at €149 with no booking fees and the Festival offers luxury on-site camping, glamping, motorhome and caravan facilities, as well as on-site parking.
