Ireland's most common Lotto numbers ahead of €19million mega draw

Tonight, the €19.06 million jackpot goes back up for grabs as thousands of Irish players wait in the hopes of landing the life-changing amount.

While Quick Pick tickets remain the most popular option for customers, some opt to choose their own fate every now and again, so knowing the most called numbers is vital in upping your chances of a win.

The National Lottery released statistics showing the numbers chosen most frequently during all Irish lotto in all draws from Saturday, September 5, 2015, up to and including Saturday, November 20, 2021.

At the top of the list is ball number 27 - which has been pulled 108 times in that time frame.

Next up as the second most called number is 47, which has been picked out 99 times. This is followed by the numbers 29 and 42 which have each been called 97 times.

The National Lottery has seen the numbers 15, 18, and 22 be chosen 94 times over that time period while 10, 14, and 16 have been announced 93 times.

Some of the other most frequently pulled numbers are:

  • 31 - 92 times
  • 7 - 91 times
  • 5 - 90 times
  • 34 - 90 times
  • 38 - 90 times
  • 45 - 90 times
  • 1 - 89 times
  • 9 - 87 times
  • 40 - 87 times
  • 30 - 86 times
  • 23 - 85 times
  • 37 - 85 times

Customers are reminded to get their hands on tickets before this evening's cut-off time of 7:45 pm, with the draw taking place at 8:00 pm on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Over the last 13 draws, where the record-breaking jackpot has been up for grabs, 177 Lotto players have benefited from boosted prize funds at the Match 5+ Bonus and Match 5 tiers.

Tonight’s draw will mark the fourteenth consecutive draw in which the jackpot has remained capped at the highest amount ever seen in the history of the game.

On Saturday night, two players in Dublin and Galway both matched 5 numbers and the bonus to share a prize fund of €1,034,002 to claim €517,001 each.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Could tonight prove to be one of the most memorable nights of one Lotto player's life?

“As players across the country continue to dream of what they would do as the next jackpot winner, we are appealing to Lotto players to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery app, or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.45 pm cut-off time for sales.

“Now, let’s see if 17th November will be the date when we see the most unprecedented jackpot roll in the history of the game come to an end.”
