Ireland's fixtures, results and standing in Group D of the Euro 2020 qualifiers

The Republic of Ireland are in a strong position with three games to play of their Euro 2020 campaign.

Mick McCarthy's side are unbeaten in five matches and sit on top of Group D two points clear of Denmark and three clear of Switzerland who have a game in hand.

Next up for Ireland is a tricky away day to Tbilisi, Georgia, where Denmark could only get a single point.

But a win for Ireland would put them in a great position to qualify for the finals next summer.
