Ireland's only festival that's reserved just for kids and their parents is set to make a return this August!
Coming back to Dublin for its second year, the Playstival will take place in the Airfield Estate in Dundrum on August 10th & 11th.
The two-day long event is designed for families to come together, ditch the phones, and return to good old fashioned outdoor play.
You read that correctly!
There is a strict no-screen environment, so families can enjoy playtime that is fuelled through imagination and creativity!
With a live music stage from dance-worthy bands and DJs, a new world food market and a plethora of hands-on programming for toddlers to tweens, you'll be spoiled for choice on stuff to do at the festival.
Speaking with great excitement of this summer’s Playstival, Festival Director Shell Holden gives a taste on what families can expect:
“Playstival is a gathering to celebrate the joy and excitement of parenting. We’ve created a two day festival dedicated to play and discovery, fun and excitement, great food and live music, and most of all family time together.”
Playstival will also ensure there is full accessibility throughout the festival, with sensory friendly chill out zones and low-lit spaces.
Working with AsIAm, Ireland’s National Autism Charity, the festival runners promote a space that people of all abilities can enjoy.
The AsIAm team will also be on site to chat about all things Autism.

Tickets start from €12.93 (€10 ticket price + €2 booking fee + €1.39 VAT) and under 2-year-olds go free.
