The cheapest pub in Ireland is officially up for auction for an incredible price.
The horse heartland of Coolagown is the site of the Farriers Bar just outside Cork which has been slapped with a bargain guide price of just €55,000.
According to Daft.ie it's the joint cheapest in the country, with the former Connaught Bar in Charlestown Co Mayo the only other one with a matching price tag, Cork Beo reports.
Sitting on the outskirts of Fermoy, Farriers comes with an open plan lounge as well as two bedrooms at the back.
It's only a ten minute drive to the town and a few minutes off the M8 so it can boast a lot of connectivity from its tranquil rural base.
Whether it'll go for that price or not remains to be seen - as the online auction site BidX1 will be opening the bidding in id November.
The 177 square metre homely spot is decorated with equestrian themes throughout and has a large fire placer area with sitting all around the walls.
The classic local pub furniture gives it that old-style feel and with the right care it could become a central village hub for people to come together again.
