Ireland rugby legend Stephen Ferris makes appeal for lost watch on Twitter

Irish rugby legend Stephen Ferris has made an appeal on Twitter after he lost his beloved watch gifted to him by his Munster teammates.

Ferris hung up the boots in 2014 due to injury and was sent a snazzy parting gift from his teammates after his 106 appearances at the club.

The legendary forward was gifted a Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch from his teammates with 'SF106' inscribed on the back, with 106 being the number of appearances he made for Ulster.

Ferris, who played for Ireland 35 times, said that he could have lost the watch at Lisburn Rd Yellow Door area in Belfast between 11.20 and 11,30 or at the Laganview Driving range between 11.50 am and 1 pm.

Taking to Twitter, he said: "Tag Heuer Formula 1 with SF106 inscribed on the back (@UlsterRugby appearances, watch was a parting gift from players)

"Plz RT and help me track this down. Hopefully it’s been picked up around- Lisburn Rd Yellow Door area- 11.20-11.30. And Laganview Driving range 11.50-1pm Thanks"
