Ireland player ratings v Scotland in the Autumn Nations Cup at the Aviva Stadium

JACOB STOCKDALE 6

Struggled under the high ball at times again. Needs a strong Christmas period to stay in the full-back role for Ireland.

HUGO KEENAN 7

Perhaps the biggest plus point for Ireland's autumn/winter has been his Test emergence. Always on the move looking for involvement and a chance.

ROBBIE HENSHAW 8

Impressed on his return from injury and was so effective in the air, from where he set up the opening try.

BUNDEE AKI 6

Defensively strong but brought little to the attack on his return to the side.

KEITH EARLS 8

Two more tries for the collection brings him out on his own in second place with 32. Still has real pace and a real threat at 33.

JOHNNY SEXTON 7

Shrugged off an early penalty miss and an early injury scare but limped off again and may be in danger of missing Leinster's clash with Montpellier.

CONOR MURRAY 7

Looked energised working alongside his old out-half partner again. Kicking was generally good.

CIAN HEALY 6

Did well to get over for his try in a purple patch for Ireland. Tough going on a heavy pitch.

ROB HERRING 6

Took a heavy blow early on and it affected him. Lineout worked out better this week.

ANDREW PORTER 7

Has had a punishing schedule in this Test window and was in the scrum and breakdown wars throughout in this one.

IAN HENDERSON 6

A worry for Ulster that he came off on the stroke of half-time with a leg injury, having thrown himself into the battle for the opening exchanges.

JAMES RYAN 6

Worked his socks off with little reward in terms of carries but defensively was always turning up and strong in the air.

CJ STANDER 6

Did well to get up unscathed from a massive hit from Fraser Brown in the 21st minute. Will have to up his game to start in the Six Nations.

PETER O'MAHONY 8

Embraced the physicality but attempts to do a Sexton on it and grubber kick for Earls for a try didn't come off.

CAELAN DORIS 9

A top-class end to his first prolonged period in Ireland camp. Could well be Ireland's no 8 in the Six Nations.

REPLACEMENTS

QUINN ROUX 6

ROSS BYRNE 6

RONAN KELLEHER 6

ERIC O'SULLIVAN 7

JOHN RYAN 6
