Ireland lockdown: Huge all-night New Year's Eve 'warehouse rave' STILL planned for Dublin as Level 5 looms

A huge illegal New Year's Eve party is STILL being planned for Dublin despite the fact that a Level 5 lockdown is looming for the third time this year.

A well-known party group are organising the large 'warehouse rave' through online platforms with tickets for the event going for €35.

The meet-up, which will see a whole host of techno DJs and what organisers describe as a 'fully stocked bar', is being put together secretly on Instagram and Snapchat.

Private social media pages reveals the group's plans for a NYE countdown bash like no other which they hope to take place even if a full Level 5 lockdown comes into place.

In order to gain access to details of the locations and ticket information, people have to request to follow an account on Instagram to view posts and message organisers.

Once approved, people can then buy tickets online and this ticket gives them access into the party WhatsApp group.

In a similar incident two weeks ago, nearly 100 ravers broke strict Covid lockdown rules by attending a massive 'all-night' party near Dublin.

Footage circulated on social media showing the party-goers dancing the night away together inside a secret location in the Leinster area, understood to be close to the capital.

In these videos, there appeared to be no social distancing and no use of face masks at the event.

Tickets for the large gathering were being sold for €30 with people being added to a WhatsApp group chat for further instruction and information once their ticket was purchased.

Those attending were promised an 'all-night' rave which would start at 9pm and finish the following morning at 6am with numerous DJs providing the entertainment which was being advertised as techno and dance music.
