Two south Dublin schools have been hit with a Covid-19 infections as urgent texts and letters were issued to parents this week.
A pupil at Sacred Heart Senior National School and another at Sacred Heart Junior School, both in Killinarden, Tallaght, tested positive for the virus in the past 10 days.
Dublin Live has learnt that updates informing parents of the cases were sent out on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
A text confirming one of the confirmed cases said: "Dear Parents/Guardians, following contact with the HSE Team today, we have been informed about a Covid-19 case in your child's school.
They add: "Please check your SeeSaw app for further details."

A further email outlining the second case reads: "A confirmed case of Covid-19 in Sacred Heart SNS has been notified to the Department of Public Health HSE.
"A public health risk assessment is being undertaken and the parents of any children deemed to be a close contact of the confirmed cases are being contacted."
It comes as a north Dublin primary school sent letters to parents after a COVID case was confirmed.
St. Joseph's C.B.S. Primary School in Fairview made the announcement on Tuesday.
School officials confirmed that any close contacts of the pupil who tested positive will be notified by the HSE.
Meanwhile the rest of the school will stay open and continue to operate as normal.
