Republic of Ireland starlet Andrew Omobamidele is in line to make a Norwich return this weekend.
The 19-year-old has been passed fit for the Canaries' trip to Man City on Saturday at 3 pm.
Omobamidele missed their season opener against Liverpool with tonsilitis, and now looks set to make his Premier League debut after making his breakthrough earlier this year.
The Leixlip native made several appearances in the Championship in the second half of last season as his club sealed a Premier League return, and was also called up to Stephen Kenny's Ireland squad for summer friendlies against Andorra and Hungary.
The centre half didn't feature in those games and will hope to make an impression on the Boys in Green boss this weekend as Kenny prepares to name his squad for a triple header of internationals next month.
Ireland travel to Portugal and will also host Serbia and Azerbaijan in crucial World Cup qualifiers, and know that they'll need at least two wins if they're to reignite hopes of making it Qatar next year.
