Ireland fans calling for Aaron Connolly to come on after drab 0-0 first half against Georgia

A very drab 0-0 first half in Tbilisi has Ireland fans pleading with Mick McCarthy to bring on Galway teenager Aaron Connolly.

Ireland know that a win over Georgia would put them in a very strong position to qualify for Euro 2020, but apart from an early John Egan header that hit the post, there has been very little to shout out for both siides.

Luton striker James Collins has been starved of good service up front and James McClean has struggled out wide for Ireland on the left.

And it all has had Irish fans restless to unleash 19-year-old Connolly who has been fasttracked into the senor team after grabbing a brace in the Premier League for Brighton last weeeknd.
