Former Ireland international rugby star Tommy Bowe was left looking a bit embarrassed after an extremely awkward moment while presenting Ireland AM on Wednesday.
As co-host Clare McKenna started to introduce their next guest, Séamas O'Reilly, for a chat about his new book, everything seemed to be hunky dory.
Clare fired ahead, saying: "Author Séamas O'Reilly was just five years old when he and his ten siblings-" at which point, Tommy interjected with a shocked, high-pitched "ten siblings?!"
Clare finished the sentence, saying "sadly lost their mum," leaving the former Ulster star red-faced and making a noise we're not even sure he knew was.
Instantly, people reacted on social media, with many comparing Tommy to David Brent from The Office and Alan Partridge.
"Oh my god the pain in his face when she finishes the sentence" one user responded.
A second added: "That's Alan Partridge and Sidekick Simon right there."
However, Tommy seems to have taken it in good faith, as he had a response of his own to another clip of the awkward moment.
Bowe has recently admitted that his work may force a family move.
The star currently lives in Belfast with his wife Lucy and children Emma and Jamie and endures a tough commute for work.
But speaking to RSVP Live, the rugby legend said: "I have lived in Belfast for a long time while playing for Ulster and Emma has started in a preschool here that she really enjoys.
"Obviously, nearly all my work is in Dublin so we have looked at potentially moving there. I wouldn’t say no to it but things are very much up in the air.
“With Covid-19 at the moment, it is not worth putting ourselves through the hassle and adding more fret."
