Iranian Official Lauds Saudi Efforts, Services Afforded to Hajj Pilgrims

Head of Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Alireza Rashidian commended the care and attention paid by the Saudi government to Hajj pilgrims.

He made his remarks during a visit to the Al Noor Specialized Hospital in Makkah on Thursday where Iranian pilgrims are being treated and receiving medical care.

He was accompanied by a number of officials that included a representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader.

Rashidian lauded the medical services afforded to the pilgrims and thanked staffers and doctors at the hospital.

Al Noor Specialized Hospital Director Dr. Fawaz Al-Juhani said that the Saudi Health Ministry is providing in its full capacity healthcare to all pilgrims and ensuring them the best medical services.

This is the implementation of directives issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

Al-Juhani pointed out that the emergency department at the hospital received 199 Iranian pilgrims as patients and provided them with the necessary medical, health, diagnostic and therapeutic services.

He revealed that more than 20 surgeries were carried out,wishing them a speedy recovery.
