Iranian Hulk was challenged to 480lb boxing fight by rival Brazilian Hulk

The Iranian Hulk was previously challenged by his strongman rival Brazilian Hulk to a 480lb boxing match.

Iranian Hulk- real named Sajad Gharibi- is currently training for his boxing clash with Martyn Ford at The O2 arena in London which will now take place on April 30.

He has attracted the attention of fans on social media due to his physique standing at six feet two inches tall and weighing 390lb.

The Iranian star was called out to a mega clash by his Brazilian namesake in 2019 when he said: "I will go up to 120 kilograms (18.9 stone) and I send a message to you, the Iranian Hulk who is challenging me: I will go up to 120 kilograms and you will go down to 120. I will tear off your head."

Brazilian Hulk- real named Romario do Santos Alves- weighs 230lbs which is sizeable for a man who stands at five feet eight inches.

The 29-year-old is a huge social media star in his native Brazil and rose to fame after beginning training seriously in 2019.

According to media reports in Brazil, Alves nearly lost his arm in 2013 due to synthol oil injections which caused a reaction and almost led to an amputation.

However he has continued to train and is known to be keen on taking on someone who is trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Since his incident almost nine years ago, he is understood to train using less controversial techniques.

Gharibi would have a significant weight and height advantage on his rival as he currently stands at around 390lbs.

It is unlikely that a bout will ever happen withIranian Hulk currently focused on the delayed test against Ford.

However he previously rose to the challenge replying on social media: "Be brave and invite me to fight instead of hiding behind your sponsors. I am ready to fight you, show me what you've got to say in the ring."

The Iranian social media star has used some bizarre training methods to prepare for his upcoming clash with Ford.

His opponent also has some background in training MMA, and the Iranian appeared to be wrestling three sparring partners to prepare despite the fight taking place in a boxing ring.

A rivalry has been heated since Ford's time at Polish MMA promotion KSW with the British star branding Gharibi "disgusting" and "useless".

However Gharibi has sparked concern in recent weeks, with a worrying social media message in Persian which translated as: "I came to Dubai without any sponsor by selling assets, without a coach and without any support. I wish for death.

"Oh God, you are the witness of how much I have suffered. I am ashamed of Iranian people."
