Iranian Hulk and Kazakh Titan come to blows ahead of 510lb super-heavyweight fight

Iranian Hulk and Kazakh Titan were embroiled in a shoving match as the pair came face-to-face ahead of their boxing fight.

Iranian Hulk - real name Sajad Gharibi - will finally get the chance to settle his differences with his long-term rival Kazakh Titan - real name Djumanov Almat Bakhytovich - in Dubai on Sunday night. The pair have exchanged verbal barbs for several years with the Iranian star previously suggesting the pair touch gloves.

A fight failed to materialise but the super-heavyweight foes will now finally do battle as part of boxing promoter Wicked 'N' Bad's night of influencer boxing. And the pair shoved each other as they met in person for the first time in Dubai.

The Iranian star has been pushing for the fight for several months after his fight deal with another rival Martyn Ford collapsed. He will be looking to prove himself and has vowed to rekindle his rivalry with Ford after recording victory over Kazakh Titan. "This fight is for me to set the record straight," he said ahead of the fight this weekend. "I will be a great champion for Iran and I'll represent my people with respect and all my strength.

"After I win this fight, I want to challenge myself against Martyn Ford, this fight will happen, if Martyn is too scared to fight me then the world will know. I’m stepping into the ring now ready to fight”. Iranian Hulk initially was challenged to an MMA fight by his rival but an appearance in combat sports failed to materialise.

Despite the significant size difference, his Kazakh rival believes he will be able to record a knockout win despite only having eight minutes to do so on the night. Neither fighter has any prior experience in combat sports, and it represents an intriguing debut for the pair who weight a combined 510lb.

However Kazakh Titan believes he will be able to show fans his power with a view to fighting new rival Fedor in his home country next year. “Many people are saying they don’t know who I am, but they will see on July 31 who Kazakh Titan is, my power," he remarked ahead of the clash. "I am going to make history by winning and making it the most entertaining show that has been in Dubai. When I win this fight, I want to fight Fedor in Almaty and bring the biggest fight to the country ever.”

There were huge concerns for Iranian Hulk during media events for his last fight, where he was floored during a face-off with Ford after tempers flared during the face-to-face. This led to a series of concerning messages including a claim he had no trainer for his boxing debut which was later overshadowed his "wish for death" on social media.
