Iran Reports 6,016 New COVID-19 Cases

Iran's Health Ministry reported 6,016 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.

The new infections took the country's caseload to 1,330,411.

Also, the Health Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said that the pandemic has so far claimed 56,803 lives in Iran, up by 86 in the past 24 hours.

She also said that up to 4,374 of those currently infected are in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in Iran reached 1,119,000.
