- Iran launched two ballistic missiles toward the United Arab Emirates on Tuesday, according to the UAE defence ministry.
- One missile fell inside territorial waters while the other landed outside, with the UAE affirming its readiness to counter threats. Iran did not immediately comment on the reported missile launches.
- A phone alert from the UAE interior ministry advised residents that the situation was safe and normal activities could resume.
- Iran frequently targeted the UAE with missiles and drones in the weeks after the U.S. and Israel launched the war against Iran on Feb. 28, but Tuesday’s reported attack was the first in weeks.
- It came as U.S. President Donald Trump said that the U.S. has no talks planned with Iran while insisting the Strait of Hormuz remains “open and operating,” despite limited traffic and a reported strike on a ship exiting the waterway.
