NEW DELHI: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Mega Auction is set to be a grand affair, scheduled for November 24 and 25, 2024, at the prestigious Abady Al-Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This marks a historic step as the IPL continues to expand its global footprint.
A total of 577 players will be featured in the auction, narrowed down from 1,574 registrations. Among them, 366 are Indian players and 208 are overseas cricketers, including three from associate nations. The event also highlights 318 uncapped Indian players and 12 uncapped overseas players, offering franchises a mix of seasoned international stars and emerging talent.
Teams have 204 slots to fill, with 70 designated for overseas players. The highest reserve price is set at INR 2 crore, and 81 players have placed themselves in this elite bracket.
