MS Dhoni rolled back the years and came up with an extremely effective cameo on Sunday to help CSK cross the finish line in what turned out to be a tight match vs DC in Qualifier 1 of the IPL.
His 18* off 6 balls helped CSK march straight into the final of IPL 2021. Apart from Dhoni, the two CSK batsmen who made a huge impact were Man of the Match Ruturaj Gaikwad (70 off 50 balls) and Robin Uthappa (63 off 44 balls).
Though DC lost this match by 4 wickets, they will get a second chance to enter the final, when they take on the winner of the Eliminator (RCB vs KKR today) in Qualifier 2 on Wednesday, October 13.
