iPhone expert shares savvy hack to boost your signal wherever you are

A tech guru has shared a little-known hack to help iPhone users boost their signal - it's quick, easy, and can be done anywhere.

TikTok user Scott Polderman regularly shares tips with his 1.4 million followers, and recently he turned his attention to the ever-familiar scenario of running out of signal.

We've all been there, right when you think you should have plenty of signal there are no bars - or maybe you've called someone and they can't hear what you're saying.

Scott, who uploads on TikTok as @scottpolderman, said that all you have to do is toggle airplane mode on and off - and in no time you'll have more signal.

What do you think about Scott's tip? Let us know in the comments...

This hack works because inside your phone there's a modem which it uses to connect to nearby towers, which is how your phone connects to others.

But it drains the battery to search for new towers so to conserve power checks are only done intermittently.

But you can trick your phone into doing it early, by flicking airplane off and back on again.

To do so, all you have to do is open the control centre by swiping down from the top right of your iPhone, then clicking the airplane icon.

Then a second wrote: "Great tip. Thanks!"

And a third added: "It worked!"
