It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated smartphones of the year, and now we may finally know the price of the iPhone 12.
Apple leaker @a_rumors1111 has tweeted what they claim are the prices for Apple’s four new iPhones - the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The iPhone 12 Mini will range in price (based on storage) from $649 - $799, while the iPhone 12 will cost $749 - $899, according to the leaker.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro will be priced at $999 - $1299, and the largest smartphone, the iPhone Pro Max will cost $1099 - $1399.
For comparison, last year’s iPhone 11 was $699 - $849, the iPhone 11 Pro was $999 - $1349 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max was $1099 - $1449.
As always, these are merely rumours, and Apple is yet to confirm any details about its 2020 iPhone lineup.
While many Apple fans had hoped to see the iPhone 12 during Apple’s Time Flies event last month, they were left disappointed.
Instead, rumours suggest that Apple could reveal its new iPhones during an event on October 13.
Jon Prosser, a respected leaker, claims that Apple will unveil its four new iPhones at an event on October 13.
Mr Prosser tweeted his predictions alongside details for the four iPhones, expected to be called the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
He said: “Apple’s first shipment of final iPhone 12 units is going out to distributers on October 5th.
“The shipment includes: iPhone 12 mini 5.4 (Definitely the final marketing name) -64/128/256
“iPhone 12 6.1 -64/128/256. Event on October 13, as I mentioned before.”
In a follow-up tweet he added: “Don’t worry — iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max start at 128GB.”
