iPhone 12 photos leak online - and they suggest Apple's next smartphone will be tiny

It’s one of the most highly anticipated smartphones of the year, and now we may have been given a first glimpse at the iPhone 12.

Weibo user Digital Chat Station has posted what they claim are photos of Apple ’s next smartphone - and it’s absolutely tiny.

Digital Chat Station said: “iPhone 12’s real screen, 5.4-inch bangs full screen, one-handed control, isn’t this the small screen flagship you want?”

The images indicate that the iPhone 12 will have a 5.4-inch display, and will be even smaller that the iPhone SE 2020.

Digital Chat Station claims that the Face ID notch will remain in place, and will be the same size as previous generations.

Meanwhile, the bezels around the edge of the display appear to be smaller.

While you might worry about the prospect of such a small iPhone, thankfully rumours indicate that Apple fans will have several different iPhones to choose from.

We expect the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 to be the basic model, followed by a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, and finally the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

All of the upcoming models are expected to get 5G compatibility, as well as an A14 Bionic chip.

As always, Apple is remaining tight-lipped about the rumours, and is yet to announce a launch date for the iPhone 12.

However, the tech giant typically launches its flagship smartphones in September, so hopefully there’s not long to wait to see what Apple has in store for us!
