It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated smartphones of the year, and now new leaks have given us a hint at the names for the iPhone 12 range.
Many Apple fans had hoped to get a glimpse at the new smartphones at Apple’s ‘Time Flies’ event last week, but were left disappointed.
Instead, rumours suggest that Apple will finally unveil its 2020 iPhones at an event next month.
Ahead of the release, Twitter user @L0vetodream has revealed what it claims are the names for the new iPhones.
According to the respected leaker, the new iPhones will be called the iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Max.
This is one of the first times we’re heard iPhone 12 Mini suggested as one of the names, although this would fit in with other popular rumours.
Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo indicates that the smallest of the four iPhones will be just 5.4-inches.
Meanwhile, the other three iPhones are expected to be the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.
All four handsets are expected to have OLED screens, as well as more squared edges than their predecessors.
In terms of launch date, Apple is remaining tight-lipped for now, although rumours suggest a launch event could take place in early October.
