iPhone 12: How and when to pre-order Apple's new 5G smartphones

After months of anticipation, Apple finally unveiled its 2020 iPhone lineup this evening.

The tech giant revealed four new iPhones - the iPhone 12 Mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Unsurprisingly, many keen fans are eager to get their hands on the new smartphones.

If you’re looking to buy the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro, the good news is that there’s not long to wait.

These two models will be available for pre-order on October 16, before launching on October 23.

However, if you’ve been eyeing up the iPhone 12 Pro Max or iPhone 12 Mini, we’re afraid you’ve got a while to wait.

Apple has confirmed that its smallest and largest models won’t be available for pre-order until November 6, and will being shipping on November 13.

In terms of price, the new iPhones are very similar to last year’s iPhone 11 range.

The iPhone 12 Mini will start at $699, while the iPhone 12 will be priced at $799 (UK pricing is yet to be announced).

Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro will start at $999, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max at $1,099.

All four new iPhones feature 5G connectivity, marking the first time that Apple has released a 5G smartphone.

Several UK carriers have already confirmed that they will be carrying the iPhone 12 range.

This includes Vodafone, Three, O2 and EE.

As always, Mirror Online will keep you updated as soon as the iPhone 12 is available through these carriers - watch this space!
