Black Friday iPad deals 2021: early sales and what to expect this year

Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year is just a week away - and many retailers have already started dishing out huge deals across a range of tech, home appliances, beauty and more.

As expected, near the top of almost everyone’s list this November 26th is Apple’s coveted iPad’s. According to research by SEMrush, it was one the top ten most searched for products last year.

Major retailers like Currys, AO.com and Amazon are just a few of the big named brands that have already launched into early Black Friday deals one week ahead of the main event.

What Apple iPad deals did we see last year?

Even last year, when these devices were still relatively new, we saw big savings on the latest iPad Pro – and even the newly-released 8th generation iPad as well.

We also saw some record low prices on the entry-level 10.2-inch iPad last year, which was especially impressive considering Apple's cheapest device had only been released for several weeks.

When will we see the best iPad Black Friday deals?

While Black Friday itself takes place on 26th November, it's worth bearing in mind that there are still plenty of iPad deals to be found in the days and weeks leading up to Black Friday.

It was a similar story last year, when retailers began their Black Friday sales much earlier than usual as a result of increased competition online and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Is Black Friday the best time to buy an iPad?

Black Friday is usually the best time to pick up a great deal on the latest Apple gadgets as it occurs shortly after Apple's annual keynote event in September, which it uses to announce the next generation of its devices.

We typically see a rush by retailers to slash prices of Apple devices after this event, including iPads.

This year, however, the new iPad Pro was announced back in late Spring before being released on May 21st.

As it's already been out for several months, many retailers have already started to offer deals on the latest iPad.

The good news, however, is that with no scheduled releases this Autumn we expect there to be deep discounts across all iPads including the iPad Air, iPad Pro and iPad Mini.
