
The dream is real.
Major League Baseball released images of the site for the Field of Dreams Game between the White Sox and Yankees. The game will be played at 6:15 p.m. on Aug. 12 in Dyersville, Iowa, near the site wear the famous Kevin Costner-James Earl Jones move “Field of Dreams” was filmed. Fox will broadcast the game.
MLB built a park with capacity for about 8,000 on the site. The game will be the first regular-season major-league game played in Iowa.
Fans will be able to walk a pathway through a cornfield to the ballpark

Ticket sales for the game are limited to people with Iowa ZIP codes, but fans outside of the Hawkeye State can register for a chance win tickets via White Sox Charities beginning Friday.
The game was originally scheduled for last year, but MLB postponed it to this season because of the coronavirus pandemic that shortened the 2020 season and limited travel for all teams.
