NVT Group has expanded its contract with fellow Glasgow-based computing company Iomart to cover a third data centre in the Midlands.
Bellshill firm NVT, which has provided information technology (IT) systems for major sporting events in Glasgow including the 2016 Commonwealth Games and the 2018 European Championships, will use the data centre to host its Concepta software, which covers analysis, monitoring and security. The company also uses Iomart to host its Viia platform.
Tommy Mitchell, technical director at NVT, said: “This new location gives us the additional infrastructure, connectivity and edge security we need to scale as we add more customers to our platform. Iomart’s infrastructure in the UK is second to none and we couldn’t have achieved this with any other provider.”
