Nobody could be blamed for pleading challenge fatigue, given the internet-fueled series of silly stunts. But this one is pretty cute.
The "invisible box" isn't new. Freshman football player Dontez Hines of Indiana's Anderson University demonstrated it in a tweet in August. But it took a Texas cheerleader's attempt to send it viral.
Ariel Olivar from Manvel High School, south of Houston, tweeted the maneuver from the sidelines recently, and the ensuing ruckus landed her on the Today show.
The trick: Pretend you're putting a foot on a box, and then hop over it with the other foot. It requires some good kinesthetic sense to keep the raised leg in the same position while you lift the jumping foot higher. Anyway, better seen than read about. Here you go: http://bayareane.ws/2AUOIro
