Invincible season 4 release window
No new episode today, so how about an everything we know about Season 4 so far post? pic.twitter.com/0NLQBSoDYoMarch 20, 2025
As I mentioned up-top, Invincible season 4 will launch sometime in March 2026. Its release window was confirmed at the end of the first teaser for Invincible season 4, which debuted at New York Comic-Con (NYCC) 2025 in mid-October.
Before this season's release window was announced, we only knew Invincible would return next year (see the X/Twitter post above for confirmation). Hopefully, it won't be long until an actual release date is revealed.
Is there a trailer for Invincible season 4?
Not an official one. However, Invincible season 4 follows in the footsteps of two of its three predecessors by getting an amusing Burger Mart-set teaser teaser that acts as a bridge between last season and its next installment.
As for when an official trailer might arrive, I suspect it'll be sometime in January 2026.

Almost all of the aforementioned names have voiced characters throughout Invincible, but two new additions have been announced so far.
Admincible can now confirm Matthew Rhys is voicing Dinosaurus!!! And here’s a first look at the character design.Source: trust me bro.Actual source: @RobertKirkman’s SDCC panel happening now. pic.twitter.com/3zNx1MaFM5July 24, 2025
Announced at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2025 in July, Matthew Rhys (Perry Mason, The Americans) is set to voice Dinosaurus. Three months later at NYCC 2025, Lee Pace (Foundation, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 1) was confirmed to be voicing Invincible's Big Bad in Grand Regent Thragg, too.
There are other prominent characters, such as Space Racer and Universa, who are introduced in the next 12 to 15 issues of Invincible's source material and, as a result, are likely to appear in season 4. Tech Jacket, who made his silent debut in Invincible season 3 episode 7 and plays a big role in the comics, will also require a voice actor if, as I suspect, he also features this season.
Finally, with Oliver continuing to grow at an accelerated rate, it's also possible Convery may be replaced by an adult voice actor.
Mark’s about to be... under pressure. Welcome Lee Pace as Thragg!!! pic.twitter.com/8amYxT79nlOctober 10, 2025
There are a few characters – and voice actors – who, potential flashback sequences aside, won't return.
Rex Sloan/Rex Splode won't be back after his death in season 3 episode 7, aka the one with the brutal Invincible War that was first teased in season 3 episode 1 and then all but revealed in the post-credits scene of season 3's sixth episode. Darkwing II also seemingly perished in that battle, so he isn't likely to be back. Lastly, The Mauler Twins' time on the show is similarly over after they were killed by Oliver Grayson in season 3 episode 3.
Invincible season 4 story speculation

Invincible season 4's story brief is yet to be revealed. However, my Invincible season 3 ending explained piece is a good place to start if you want to refresh your memory about what happened.
That article doesn't reveal everything about last season's finale. If you want some hints over this season's plot, I'll reveal more after the image below. Full spoilers follow for Invincible season 3 and the graphic novel series it's based on!

One of the first big storylines season 4 needs to resolve is the sequids-centric one. The parasitic lifeforms made their animated debut in season 1 episode 4 and have been a regular thorn in Mark's side ever since.
With the alien race making their way to Earth in season 2 episode 8 – read my Invincible season 2 part 2 ending explained article for more details – they pose a huge threat to Earth's human population. Expect this to be the first big test for Mark and his fellow heroes post-Conquest.
That won't be the only problem Mark has to contend with. After Mark seemingly killed Conquest in the season 3 finale, it turns out the second-most powerful Viltrumite warrior is still alive. He's being kept in a secure and secret Global Defence Agency (GDA) location miles beneath the Earth's surface. The reason? Once Conquest wakes up from his coma, Cecil wants information on the Viltrum Empire and how it can be defeated. I can't see that going badly for Cecil and company...
pic.twitter.com/AuoD0WuWkLMarch 16, 2025
So, yes, Conquest will return, but I won't reveal when or what awaits Mark when he does. Let's just say if Mark was mad that Cecil lied to him over D.A. Sinclair's reformation and continuing work on the ReAnimen, he's going to be apoplectic when he learns Conquest isn't dead.
Moving away from the titular superhero, next season will spend more time with everyone's favorite interracial bromance: Allen the Alien and Nolan Grayson.
The pair haven't had much screen time over the last two seasons, but that'll change soon because they'll have much more prominent roles to play. Indeed they'll attempt to track down allies and weapons to help them and the Coalition of Planets (CoP) in their upcoming fight against the Viltrum Empire.

They'll need all the help they can get, too, because season 4 is likely to end with another conflict – larger and more devastating than the Invincible War – between the CoP and Viltrumites. I won't spoil too much about that, but you'll want to prepare yourself for a battle for the ages.
There are plenty of other subplots to be resolved and new ones that'll be introduced in Invincible 4. There's going to be more melodrama for Mark and Eve to deal with, the return of villains who'll need to be put in their place, Immortal and Dupli-Kate settling down to start a family, another reboot of the Guardians of the Globe's line-up, and so much more.

One the new storyline front, one will focus on Damien Darkblood, the demon detective who was banished from Earth by Cecil midway through the show's first season.
That's where his story ends in the source material, but last season's finale confirmed Darkblood will be back in some capacity. Nobody knows how it'll factor into the overarching narrative, but it's nevertheless pleasing to see Kirkman expand on his literary works where he can.
Chatting to Variety about what this brand-new material will entail, Kirkman teased: "Every superhero story has some chapter where they go to hell and they fight the devil. It happens in DC and Marvel comics. It’s a big deal.
"I never got around to doing anything like that in Invincible. I kept getting side-tracked and there was never a good time. So, it’s entirely possible that we may be doing something like that in the show, and that scene at the end of that episode is setting that up."

Has Invincible been renewed for a fifth season?
Season 5, Mark... this is GOOD NEWS pic.twitter.com/Kft2aTuS5SJuly 17, 2025
Yes! Amazon confirmed Invincible season 4 won't be the show's latest installment at SDCC 2025 by revealing it had been renewed for a fifth season.
Season 5, which Kirkman and company are already "deep into production" on (per Collider), might not be the last one, either. Kirkman has regularly said he wants Invincible's TV adaptation to tell the full story depicted in its comic book namesake. And, speaking at SDCC (per IGN), he said seven to nine seasons would be needed to do that.
Currently, each eight-episode season is adapting between 15 and 20 comic book issues. Invincible ran for 144 issues so, if the show maintains that output with each new installment, it should take eight to nine seasons to depict the graphic novel series' complete tale. Here's hoping that'll be the case because, as an Invincible diehard, I don't want Invincible season 5 to be its last hurrah.
