Police have launched an investigation after a person was left seriously injured in a works accident in Salford.
Police were called to a site on Eccles New Road at 6.14pm this evening.
GMP says there is one casualty with serious injuries, and an investigation is ongoing.
A viral post on social media had claimed incorrectly that a number of bodies were being brought out of the back of a lorry at the scene.
Photos from the scene appear to show a number of forensics officers in the car park of a storage firm.
No further details have been released by police at this time.
