A police investigation has been launched following a sexual assault in Glasgow Green last night.
Officers were called to the incident at around 9.40pm last night following reports of the late-night attack.
Detectives remained at the scene today, with Police Scotland confirming an investigation has been launched and is at "a very early stage".
A statement from the force reads: "Around 9.40 pm on Friday, 5 March, 2021 police were called following a report of a sexual assault in Glasgow Green. Enquiries, which are at a very early stage, are continuing."
A spokesperson for the police also confirmed a 19-year-old man was arrested and has since been released.
Their statement continued: "A 19-year-old man has been has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released pending further enquiries."
