Police are investigating a sudden death in the Rhondda.
Officers were called shortly after 6am on Wednesday, August 12 after a body was found on High Street in Cymmer.
South Wales Police said they were called to reports of a sudden death.
A spokesman said: "The matter remains under investigation."
The road was closed as police investigated on Wednesday morning.
Traffic monitoring system said that police were dealing with an incident near Cymmer Junior School.
Police said it is very early in the investigation and more details will be released at a later date.
