A man has been found dead in a supermarket car park.
Police were called to the Tesco Express store, in Seaham, County Durham, at around 12.15pm today.
They found the man inside his car parked outside the supermarket, on Stockton Road.
Paramedics also attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Durham Constabulary spokesman said: "Officers were called at around 12.15pm this afternoon to Tesco Express in Seaham following concerns for the welfare of a man who was found in his vehicle at the rear of the store.
"Paramedics also attended but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His death is not believed to be suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
