A motorcyclist has died in an early-morning crash in Inverness.

The 33-year-old man was travelling towards the city centre on Culduthel Road when a collision happened at around 3.10am on Saturday.

The family of the man, who was riding a blue Suzuki bike, has been told.

Culduthel Road was closed between Drummond Road and Cauldean Road following the incident.
