Inverness property consultant signs up experienced associate

Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has appointed chartered building surveyor Carla Walker as an associate in its Inverness office.

The Robert Gordon University graduate has worked for major surveying firms in Aberdeen including DM Hall and Shepherd, and had a spell working as a surveyor for Aberdeenshire Council.

Walker, from Dingwall, said: “This appointment represents a significant development in my career. I’m delighted to return to the north of Scotland and join a multi-disciplined practice that continues to expand its operations across Scotland. I am pleased to be given an opportunity to play a part in serving clients throughout Inverness, Moray and the Highlands and Islands.”

Walker's experience includes pre-acquisition inspections, lease and property advice, defect analysis, dilapidations, condition surveys/schedules of condition; insurance reinstatement cost assessments, planned maintenance and cost advice, principal designer and contract administration.
