Inventive EK brothers build pet dog Darcy an igloo after storm

As temperatures plummeted as Storm Darcy hit this week East Kilbride brothers took building a snowman to a whole new level when they embarked on making their own igloo.

Nathan and Arran Clough, of Lindsayfield, spent hours building the igloo in their garden thanks to the huge snowfall left on Tuesday evening.

Arran, 11, who attends Eaglesham Primary School along with his brother Nathan, 13, who attends Mearns Castle, were even joined by their dog, who is also called Darcy, to take on the challenge.

Dad Jonny said: “Both boys have been busy building the igloo it took a good few hours to build. Even our dog, Darcy, enjoyed going inside.”
