An introvert gamer spent more than a month setting up an elaborate gaming stunt to propose to his girlfriend.
Jerome Javillonar left his girlfriend Ronica Cabansag in absolute shock when he created a special version of their favourite game Genshin Impact - creating special levels and mazes she had to complete.
Ronica described her boyfriend, now fiance, as an "extreme introvert" - and said she was shocked by the proposal because Jerome wasn't usually into romantic stuff.
Speaking about the moment he asked her to marry him, Ronica said she was asked to go to his home out of the blue, reports the Daily Star.
She said she had the feeling something was going on, but added: "My mind wouldn’t accept it because I know he’s not into romantic stuff.

“When I opened his bedroom door, I saw lights and balloons. I got mixed emotions. I was laughing and crying at the same time and I was scared to fully open the door.”
Ronica said she walked into the room to find a laptop playing their favourite video game, Genshin Impact, was sitting on top of his bed.
She went on to say: “He created some obstacles and mazes in the game. It was very creative because I know it’s so hard to make.
“He even said it took him more than a month because he needed to buy the supplies in the game’s shop.”
As she played the game, Jerome had hidden messages throughout the online world, reading: "Roses are red, violets are blue, forever is real with you."

As Ronica entered the final maze of the game, she was met with a message reading: "Will you be my waifu?"
She said she was overcome with emotion, adding: "So that’s how an extreme introvert proposes. Not flashy. Not crowded. No pressure.
“If he loves you quietly, he’ll do anything he can to make you happy. I guarantee you.
“I’m finally engaged to my now-ex-boyfriend, who is now my fiancé.”
