Committed to opening up the possibilities of technology and helping customers grow their businesses through digital experiences, O2 has launched a free specialist tool, O2 Social Insights.
As Twitter's official partner for UK small business, O2 is helping companies take advantage of Twitter as a marketing and communications platform. To get them started O2 are offering £50 in Twitter advertising credit to every business that signs up to O2 Social Insights.
Anticipated as one of the best free online resources available to UK businesses, O2 Social Insights enables businesses to check out their social scores, allowing small- and medium-sized companies to see exactly how they measure up to the competition.
Ben Dowd, Business Director at O2 says:
"During conversations with our small business customers we are often told that what they really need is advice to understand how they can use platforms like Twitter, and we believe that it's our responsibility as both a large corporate and a digital services company to guide them. That's why we are investing our time, money and expertise in this new social insights platform."
With the help of O2 Social Insights, businesses can monitor and improve their social marketing activity and skills, and ultimately be more successful on social media.
O2 Social Insights has three main elements:
Social League: a business social media leader board that enables business owners to see how their business ranks against all the other companies in the league. Businesses can track their influence and outreach over time against other businesses, filtering by size, region and sector.
Dashboard: here business owners will be able to check how their social activity is performing and monitor their influence and outreach, milestones and achievements.
Social Toolkit: subscribers will receive tips on how to get ahead of the social media game through guides, FAQs and case studies.
