Intrepid Travel launches £1 deposits on holidays including the Northern Lights

By Julie Delahaye

Intrepid Travel is offering up some seriously dreamy bucket-list-worthy holidays with deposits for just £1 per person.

We're talking everything from winter escapes in Iceland in search of the Northern Lights, epic adventures across Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches, cruises around the Greek islands and hikes around the USA's best national parks, to name a few.

The small group holidays firm has brought back its popular £1 deposit deal - and the best part is that it's valid for any departure in 2022. Yep, that includes any date between January 1 and December 31.

However, the booking window is slightly shorter - you'll need to book by October 11, 2021 when the sale ends.

You can check out the full list of holidays here, with destinations spanning the USA, Morocco, Australia, Greece, and even the UK (trip to the Scottish Isles, anyone?).

There are heaps of bucket list holidays in the deals but some that particularly caught our attention include:

Of course during the coronavirus pandemic there are still plenty of travel restrictions to navigate.

Before planning, booking or going on a trip, always check the latest Foreign Office advice for any entry requirements and the latest travel updates.

If you are thinking of booking a holiday, make sure you familiarise yourself with Intrepid Travel's Covid policy here. It's worth noting that if you wish to change your date or tour, you'll be required to pay the full deposit towards the new trip. You can check out the full T&Cs here. The full balance will be due within 21 days of departure.

The £1pp deposit isn't the only tempting deal that Intrepid is currently offering holidaymakers.

For those thinking of booking a last-minute getaway, there are deals from £281pp with holidays including the likes of Morocco, Italy and the UK.

For more bargains you may also want to check out our Holiday Deals page which we regularly update with everything from flash sales to discount codes we think are worth having on your radar.

We've also tried to make life a little easier with guides to explain the travel rules during the pandemic. For example, we've got a guide on where Brits can actually go on holiday on both the green and amber lists, and the rules for when you're back in the UK.

For those thinking of a last-minute break, we've rounded up some of the best late September deals, as well as highlighting the best hot and sunny destinations in October.
