InTheStyle's Caroline Flack t-shirts have now raised a staggering amount of money for charity

Earlier this week, following the tragic passing of Caroline Flack, Manchester-based clothing brand InTheStyle launched its #BeKind t-shirt campaign.

The campaign features a small collection of t-shirts which are printed with the slogan 'In a world where you can be anything, be kind,' - words which were posted on Instagram by Caroline not long before her death.

The t-shirts  are being sold for £10 each, with 100 per cent of profits going to Samaritans - a charity which supports those with mental health issues and suicidal thoughts.

The shirts originally raised an astonishing £100k in 24 hours, but it's now been revealed that the total has surpassed £300k.

Posting on Instagram on Wednesday, InTheStyle shared a moving message, which read: "Dear you, I know you have been having a rough time lately. Things seem to be falling apart and aren't going your way. You may feel like a failure.

"Hang in there. You're going to be okay and things are going to work out. Trust me. The world  is a better place because of you. You are amazing and loved."

The message was captioned: "A little Wednesday message to anybody that might need it... ❤️ For everyone asking about the Be Kind charity t-shirts we will be relaunching a final 50,000 t-shirts at 6pm today! If you’d like to show your support you can purchase one from 6pm and help us continue to raise money for  @samaritanscharity - we are already at over £250,000."

And now it's been revealed that the total amount of money raised has reached well over £300,000. An incredible achievement, and something Caroline is likely to have been very touched by.

Speaking about the sales, a spokesperson for In The Style said: "In light of recent tragic events and the ongoing mental health battles faced by so many we feel it’s so important as a brand to use our platform to raise further awareness to mental health and the impacts surrounding this.

"You honestly never know what goes on behind closed doors and being kind costs nothing.

"The sole purpose of these #BeKind tees was to spread love, raise awareness and donations for charity and it’s definitely done that.

"I know everyone is so deeply sad in light of recent events but people coming together in support of this is just so special and this money raised will have such a huge impact for so many people who need it."

What an incredible effort.
