Frank James of the Chicago Tribune's excellent The Swamp blog, says that the members of the Wall Street Journal's editorial board are so worried about Rudy Giuliani that they "put together a bit of an intervention in the form of an editorial that ran this morning".
Rudy did a bit of New York shtick last week and answered a mobile phone call from his wife, Judith, during a rally at the National Rifle Association.
But not everyone was amused, including some NRA members in the audience (people who live on that short list of those you definitely do not want to anger) and now, the Wall Street Journal.
The editorial board said that it was weird, and "Giuliani doesn't need more weird."
But there's one rule for Rudy and another for the audience. According to Andrew Sullivan, Rudy humiliated a woman whose phone rang during a speech last year.
