A 10 year old girl has become an internet sensation overnight. A picture of a small girl holding a baby in her lap while attending class has gone viral over the internet.
10 year old Meiningsinliu Pamei from Tamenglong, Manipur babysits her little sister in the classroom while her parents are out farming.
The picture of the young girl sitting in a classroom leaning over the desk and over her little sister who is happily sleeping in her lap with her head resting on the elder sister's lap, was shared by Biswajit Thongam, Minister for Power, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Agriculture, Science & Technology, Government of Manipur.
The minister's tweet reads: "Her dedication for education is what left me amazed!
This 10-year-old girl named Meiningsinliu Pamei from Tamenglong, Manipur attends school babysitting her sister, as her parents were out for farming & studies while keeping her younger sister in her lap."
Touched by her dedication, the minister has taken care of her education till her graduation. "As soon I noticed this news on social media, we trace her family & asked them to bring her Imphal. Spoke to her family that I will personally take care of her education till she graduates. Proud of her dedication!," he tweeted.
Having an elder sibling will always remind you that you are never alone whatsoever may be the circumstance!
Meiningsinliu Pamei's story sets yet another sibling goal.
It is not unknown that siblings will go to any extent to prove their love for each other. There is no relation as sincere and dedicated as those of siblings.
An elder sibling can be like either of your parents, with the only difference being they would understand you better. Being born in the same generation and being elder to you, the elder sibling will be a powerhouse of experience, vision, and guidance. Siblings reach out to each other in times of need and distress. If there is anyone who can understand you better it can be your own sibling who has seen you grow up, mature and evolve.
