Residents across Glasgow's east end are facing major internet connection issues this morning as providers experience outages.
The incident, which is linked to Openreach, has impacted all providers, including Sky, Talk Talk, Vodafone, and Post Office.
Multiple people living in the affected area of the east end have taken to social media to try and find answers to the issue.
With the majority of people working from home and home schooling remaining in place for most pupils, the outage has caused widespread concern.
One person sent a tweet that read: "Internet down but your website is saying no issues and can’t get through to talk to anyone. East end Glasgow area. Can we have some alternatives please as obviously everyone needs internet just now to work/ do school/ university?"
Another added: "Our internet’s been down since last night (Glasgow east-end area), will someone be able to come out and fix it soonish ? can’t work remotely without it!"
However, Openreach have told residents the issue will be fixed by tomorrow afternoon at the earliest, but added "currently it looks like this will be resolved by the end of Thursday 25th February", leaving residents with no broadband for almost four days.
The Openreach website has confirmed internet connectivity issues in the Bridgeton area of the east end, stating: "We’re really sorry but we’ve got a problem in the Bridgeton area, which means that some of our customers will be having trouble getting online or potentially using their digital voice service. We’re trying to fix the problem as quickly as we can."
